How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Record, manage, and report employee attendance accurately.
- Verify check-in and check-out locations against authorised geofenced premises.

- Your Organisation — Attendance records and related data are shared with your employer or HR administrators as part of the core service functionality.

Location Data
The Attendance app requests access to your device's location to verify that check-ins and check-outs occur within authorised geofenced areas. Location is captured only at the moment of check-in or check-out and is not continuously tracked in the background.
You may disable location access at any time via your device settings. Doing so will prevent geofence-based attendance verification and may affect your ability to record attendance through the app.
Camera Access
Camera access may be requested for identity verification during attendance capture. Images used for verification are processed securely and are not stored or shared beyond the verification process unless required by your organisation's attendance policy.
You may revoke camera access at any time via your device settings. This may disable certain verification features within the app.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission over HTTPS/TLS.
- Biometric authentication processed locally on-device — biometric data is never transmitted.
- Secure token-based session management for uninterrupted and protected access.
- Access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only.
- Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong credentials and report any suspected security issues promptly.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data and attendance records for as long as your account is active or as required by your organisation and applicable law. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, compliance, or payroll purposes.
